Team Owner / NEXUS Group Representative

SATOSHI HOSHINO

We began supporting motorsports as part of our corporate social responsibility activities for our amusement facility “D’STATION,” NEXUS Group’s primary business. Motorsports is an integral component for development in automotive manufacturing, a major industry in Japan, and there is a “Dream” and a “Passion” in its spirit of taking on challenges. “Dream” and “Passion” are important keywords for our customers, employees, and staff in the various businesses we develop, and they are factors that give us comfort in our daily lives and motivation for the future. We will continue to strive to contribute to these values through our motorsport activities, which will act as the engine for the company’s growth. We look forward to your ongoing support of D’station Racing.

General Manager

KAZUHIRO SASAKI

Since becoming the Team Principal in 2017, over the last seven years, we have competed not only in Japan, but expanded our program to competing in Asia, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the FIA World Endurance Championship. I have been to many races myself, but the allure of motorsports is very special. Super GT in particular is the pinnacle of this, a dramatic racing series where high-level teams and professional drivers battle against each other. It won’t be easy to win, but our team will always fight for victory. I look forward to meeting many more motorsports fans and baseball fans at the circuit.

Managing Director

TOMONOBU FUJII

In 2017, D'station Racing began its full-scale operations as a team. Since the team’s establishment, our goal was to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship series and the Le Mans 24 Hours as a Japanese entrant. In 2021, the FIA-ACO selected our entry and our goal to compete on the world's most prestigious stage was realized. With three podium finishes in the WEC and a 6th place finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans over the past three years, achieving another team goal of ours. As a Japanese racing team, we will continue to actively participate in various races both domestically and overseas, which includes a long-term plan to compete in Japan's SUPER GT from 2024. Additionally, we will continue to engage in community service activities and the promotion of motor sports, such as our summer children’s motorsport work experience, an event we have been organizing since 2021.

History

D'station Racing made its official debut in 2013 when Team Owner, Satoshi Hoshino, competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan. Full-scale operations as an in-house racing team kicked off in 2017 with entries to compete in Japan’s premier Super GT and Super Taikyu series as well as the international Asian Le Mans Series. Since 2021, D’station Racing has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a private Japanese entry team, which has been the team’s goal since it’s founding, to compete on the world stage.
